CHOC Raffle # 2
Sponsored by Toby Martinez & GL Holmlund

Raffle items include:

6 Handmade heavy duty engraved walnut coasters made exclusively for CHOC Fundraiser
One Handmade heavy duty ashtray made exclusively for CHOC Fundraiser

The coasters are made by a local artist in Marion, Illinois. They are made of walnut wood with the two different choc logos engraved into them.
The ashtray weighs 26 pounds and it is made of many different engine and automotive components. First off, the base is a ring gear from a rear-end. Inside, the ring gear is a timing gear with the cam shaft still attached to it. The cam shaft was cut down so it wouldn’t be so tall. The horizontal arms are aluminum connecting rods from a compressor motor. The rods were heated and twisted a quarter turn for looks and mounting the pistons for ashtray use. The rods were drilled and tapped on the ends to second the pin as well as the pistons. And last but not least a stainless steel plate was welded on top of the cam shaft and two pieces of walnut wood with the latest CHOC logo was mounted on each side of the stainless steel plate. Chrome Allen bolts were used to secure the wood to the plate.
